Building a great app is difficult, but turning it into a profitable business can be even more of a challenge. Join Rob Domagala, TWG’s Director of Strategy & New Business, alongside other industry experts, innovative startups, publishers, and developers to explore strategies to turn your app into a profitable business at this Application Developers Alliance event in Toronto.
Rob will be participating in a panel that offers an inside look at the rapid growth of Toronto’s mobile marketplace alongside Al Zebian (CEO, Playpuddle), Rob Segal (Co-Founder, GetSet) and Phil Jacobson (Co-Founder, PumpUp). The panel will be moderated by Jason Silva, Founder and Managing Director of Service Echo.
They will be revisiting their roots by sharing the journeys of their companies from startups to success stories. They will also compare how the growth of Toronto’s mobile scene stacks up against the Canadian mobile industry as a whole.
Rob is the Director of Strategy and New Business at TWG, where he works closely with our multi-disciplinary team to launch projects for new partners.
He started out analog, a talent scout for Universal Music UK, but upgraded to digital after tenures at CTV, Canada’s largest private broadcaster, and at various mobile marketing agencies. Having worked in digital for more than ten years now, Rob’s a veteran when it comes to web and mobile strategy, planning and execution.
He has extensive experience on-boarding new business opportunities and strategies in the startup and media space, including music, mobile, publishing and TV industries, and developing ongoing digital and mobile strategies for major national companies.
At TWG Rob has lead award-winning work for TSN and Sobeys, as well as large-scale implementations for Rogers, Homewood Health, Toronto Star, The Globe & Mail and more.
When he’s not trying to solve business problems for our partners, or add records to his impressive collection of vinyl, Rob focuses his attention on family, trying to unravel the mysteries of raising two young children and a chihuahua.
